• Atholville : A village on the rise 

    The village of Atholville is working hard to position itself as a developing municipality and since 2015, it has seen major projects including:  

    • The creation of several jobs with the opening of the Zenabis factory
    • Expansion of the Canadian Tire store
    • Renovation of the Sugarloaf shopping centre
    • Upgrading of the Alma Community Centre and renovations at the bowling alley
    • The opening of the Giant Tiger store
    • The construction of a veterinary hospital
    • The construction of a welding company (East Coast Mobile Industrial) in the Industrial Mall 
    • Snow cannons for Sugarloaf Park, chair lift and solar panel installation at the campsite
    • The upcoming opening of a dental clinic
    • The construction of several new residences
