• 2022 Fall Clean-up

      ***We ask you to place all items at the curb on October 16-17. The truck will be driving by only once.

      Here are the items that will be picked up:

      • branches tied in bundles of less than 5 feet long 
      • leaves placed in clear plastic bags 
      • garden waste 
      • furniture (sofa, mattress, television, ...)
      • freon-free household appliances (microwave, washing machine, ...)
      • other (bicycle, stroller, big toys, ...)

      Here are the items that will not be picked up:

      • liquids of any type
      • construction material
      • appliances containing freon
      • trees
      • articles that cannot be handled by two people
      • all garbages for regular collection
      • propane

      Launch of the Cultural Policy

      The Village of Atholville would like to thank everyone present at the lauching of our cultural policy that took place June 21, 2022 at the Alma Hall in Atholville. We strongly believe that the cultural policy will have a positive impact on the development of our community, as well as the surrounding one.

      Press Release

      Council members of the Municipality of Atholville has decided to close its municipal offices to the public until further notice. This decision is being made in conjunction with the recommendations from the Chief Medical Officer of Health of New Brunswick regarding the closure of non-essential public facilities. Administrative employees will work from home, whenever possible.

      The Village of Atholville wishes to inform the population that essential services will be maintained: water testing, road maintenance and snow removal, garbage collection and recycling. Obviously, fire services will also be maintained.
