• $1,000 FOR MAISON NOTRE DAME OF CAMPBELLTON

      Nicole LeBrun proudly presents a cheque for the amount of $1,000.00 to the Maison Notre-Dame in Campbellton. This amount represents profits raised from the International Modern Line Dance Workshop held in mid-September at the Alma Hall in Atholville, NB.

      REMEMBRANCE DAY

      On Monday November 11, 2019, the ceremonies will take place at Alma Hall at 11 a.m. Refresments will be served. If you wish to lay a wreath, you are invited to notify reception at Town Hall (789-2944), at the latest, November 6. The names will be taken at the entrance of Alma Hall, but no later than 10:45 a.m. (A service will take place at the church Our Lady of Snows in Campbellton on November 10 at 11 a.m.)

      Mayor Michel Soucy is recognized for 20 years of involvement in the municipality by Mr. Luc Desjardins, President of the AFMNB. Michel counts 7 years as mayor and 13 years as deputy mayor and councillor. Congratulations!

      AN ATHOLVILLE CITIZEN IS CELEBRATING HER 100TH BIRTHDAY

      Surrounded by her family, friends and dignitaries, Mrs. Jean is beaming. Nearly 125 people attended the reception given in her honour and Mrs. Jean was even fortunate to have her great-great-great-grandchildren present during the evening.

      Coming from all over Canada and even the United States, her family members would not have missed this unique moment for anything in the world. Ms. Jean was born in Caraquet on October 5, 1919 and currently lives in the family home that has been transformed into an intergenerational home.
