Launch of the Cultural Policy

The Village of Atholville would like to thank everyone present at the lauching of our cultural policy that took place June 21, 2022 at the Alma Hall in Atholville. We strongly believe that the cultural policy will have a positive impact on the development of our community, as well as the surrounding one.

2 Public Notices - Rural Plan Amendment & Water consumption

The Village of Atholville Municipal Council intends to adopt By-law No. Z-20-2, “A By-law to amend By-law No. Z-20, Village of Atholville Rural Plan”.
The proposed amendment to the Rural Plan will rezone a vacant property located on the McKendrick Road Route 275, having the PID 50185222, from a Rural Residential, R3 Zone, and a Rural Development, RD Zone, to the Institutional, INST1 Zone, subject to conditions to permit the following specific proposal: to permit radio broadcasting antennas fastened to a 120 foot high tubular pole and accessory buildings and structures, including a 12 foot x 12 foot transmitter building
PUBLIC NOTICE - RURAL PLAN AMENDMENT

The Village of Atholville Municipal Council intends to adopt By-law No. Z-20-1, “A By-law to amend By-law No. Z-20, Village of Atholville Rural Plan”.
The proposed amendment to the Rural Plan will rezone the property located at 262 Notre-Dame Street, Atholville, having PID 50045277, from an Institutional (INST1) Zone to a Local Commercial (C2) Zone, subject to conditions to permit the specific proposal: “a warehouse for storage of personal belongings and vehicles”.

Council members of the Municipality of Atholville has decided to close its municipal offices to the public until further notice. This decision is being made in conjunction with the recommendations from the Chief Medical Officer of Health of New Brunswick regarding the closure of non-essential public facilities. Administrative employees will work from home, whenever possible.
The Village of Atholville wishes to inform the population that essential services will be maintained: water testing, road maintenance and snow removal, garbage collection and recycling. Obviously, fire services will also be maintained.
